The Blackbird Society Orchestra is a group of musicians that have a passion for early American Jazz. This includes the songs of Hoagy Charmichael, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington and other great composers. We enjoy playing music that was made famous by Bing Crosby, Paul Whiteman, Louis Armstrong, Joe Venuti, Eddy Lang, Stephane Grapelli, Django Reinhardt, Bix Beiderbecke and the other great early American jazz musicians.
We are available for concerts and parties and can range from a single strolling violinist up to a ten piece orchestra. Here are some sound clips from live performances.
